Travelling with no set plans, my husband and I needed a place to rest. So happy to have found this gem. I'm a stewardess and stay in many top chain hotels and am so happy not to when on vacation. The motel is in a rural setting with restaurants and natural attractions nearby. The motel room is exceptionally clean and decorated per setting. The room is equipped with a microwave, fridge, bar top table and stools. Also a table and 2 chairs for resting, reading & the bed was clean and comfortable! The shower was also clean. The owner is very sweet. She takes care of cats that were abandoned. (People please spay and neuter and don't abuse and abandon your pets.) I love animals, but even if I didn't...the cats were not annoying or invasive. We are now planning a trip to this area just so we can return to the Blue Ridge Inn and stay for several nights. Oh and the price is very reasonable.

This is an older roadside motel. There aren't many frills and it is rather dated. That being said, the bed was adequately comfortable, the location and views are amazing, and you can't beat the cheap nightly rate. The lady running the place is very sweet. I made friends with one of the many cats on the property too. I like staying in places like this, in quaint little towns while on motorcycle trips. I'd go back.

We were 8 hours into a 16 hour road trip and needed somewhere to spend the night. Glad we found Blue Ridge Inn. No frills and the rooms are small, but the place is well maintained, clean, and friendly. Three things I liked best about our stay: 1. The view outside the Inn was beautiful. 2. Our stay cost us exactly $50. (Cheap!) 3. There were well taken care of domesticated cats on the property. They roamed around freely and were sweet as they could be! We named them Bonny and Clyde.

Great Inn. Extremely, Extremely, Extremely (yes, I meant to put Extremely 3x) well kept!!! It's vintage in structure only adds to the beautiful mountain setting in which it is set. I don't usually travel along country sides, and stayed here just on a visit to the area. However, when I got into my room, it was so well cleaned, put together, along with the comfort of the bed. I was so thoroughly impressed, and slept so peaceful and comfortably here. I'd absolutely recommend staying here once more.

I love this place! I stay here every time I pass through. For not much money you get a clean, cozy room with everything you need and nothing you don't. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are clean, WiFi is free, and the view across the valley is the best in Virginia. Skip the national chains and search out this little gem. Pro tip: Just up the road is the Southern Kitchen diner, that serves the best fried chicken in the galaxy.

This has got to be one of the most impressive, aggressively priced inns I have ever stayed at. I was seconds away from booking at the local ramada when the name caught my eye. 4.5 stars, I thought well it will probably be over 100 to stay there. Not even close. For 55 bucks we got a super clean, and beautiful room with one of the coolest bathrooms I've ever seen. Water pressure was great too. To top it off they had tea and biscuits instead of just coffee. The awesome British lady who runs the place knows how wake up right. Final plus, there are like 5 cats running around the property and they are all super nice. If you don't like cats, well get over it, cats are awesome and so is this inn. I will be back!

Great getaway. No frills Mom & Pop motel. Old, but clean and well kept. Lots of personal touches. Special place for me. I nicknamed it the Kitty Motel for the many cats here. Best lodging value if you don't need a fancy hotel.

You can't beat the price, my fiance and I stayed for one night and it was only $45. The lady that checked us in was very nice and very efficient, she checked us in quickly and was very friendly while doing so. The room we stayed in was very clean and it was stocked with everything we needed, towels, soap, shampoo etc. The rooms are on the smaller side but still plenty of room that you don't feel crowded. Blue Ridge Inn is definitely a place that we would stay again and again, because of the clean rooms, friendly staff and especially the price!
